Our Year 12 Outdoor Education students wrapped up Term 2 in high spirits, spending the final two days of the term on their first major leadership tramp in the stunning Waitākere Ranges. Blessed with gorgeous weather and clear skies, the students put their leadership strategies into action as they successfully navigated the tracks, soaked in some breathtaking scenic views, and managed group dynamics along the way. At camp, their practical skills shone through as they pitched their own tents and cooked up their own meals. It was a brilliant display of teamwork, independence, and growth to end the term on a high note. With one successful expedition under their belts, the group is now looking forward to their next big adventure: heading to the Pinnacles in the Coromandel.
