Congratulations to Year 12 student Mia John-Tapaatoutai, who has been selected to represent the Cook Islands in the Cook Islands U18 Women’s Basketball Team at the 2026 FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup in Bangkok, Thailand.
The tournament will be held from 13–18 July, with the team travelling from 10–28 July. Mia’s selection follows a successful trial process and reflects her talent, dedication and commitment to the sport.
Representing your country on the international stage is a significant achievement, and we are incredibly proud of Mia for earning this opportunity. We wish her and the Cook Islands team all the very best for the tournament.
