The Westlake Girls Senior Tennis team capped off a good season by securing bronze in the Auckland A3 Saturday morning competition.
In their final outing, the team delivered an impressive performance to defeat Kristin School 9–2, showcasing their depth, consistency, and confidence across both singles and doubles play.
Led by captain Sofia Crampton, the team also featured Jess Crampton, Tilly Flynn, Dulmi Subasingha, Jimin Ban, and German international student, Emma Zukowski. For Emma, the season has been a particularly memorable experience, embracing the opportunity to play competitive tennis during her time in New Zealand and contributing positively to the team environment.
Throughout the season, the players combined strong individual performances with great teamwork, contributing to a well-earned podium finish. The bronze medal finish is a fitting reward for a committed and supportive group, rounding out the season on a high note.
