Three Year 10 students are ready to help keep beachgoers safe after qualifying as surf lifeguards with Muriwai Volunteer Surf Life Saving Club.
Olive Robinson, Charlotte McIntyre and Leilani Tatt earned their qualifications on Sunday after weeks of study and multiple assessments. They completed their final preparation during the same week as their school co-requisite assessments — a demanding stretch that makes their achievement all the more impressive.
Congratulations to Olive, Charlotte and Leilani on the hard work and commitment behind this milestone. We wish them well as they put their new skills to work at Muriwai.
