What an absolutely fun, excitement-filled day our students had at Showquest 2026!
After weeks of incredibly hard work bringing their creative vision to life, our talented students took to the stage with their original performance, Symphony of Everyday Sounds.
Inspired by the idea of unplugging from our headphones and truly appreciating the vibrant world of sound around us, the performance was both thought-provoking and high-energy.
Our school walked away with two awards:
- Award for Recognition in Music
- Award for Recognition in Culture

A massive thank you to all the students, staff, and families who poured their time, energy, and passion into this year’s performance. You represented our school beautifully!
We are so incredibly proud of what this group achieved, and we already can’t wait to be a part of Showquest again next year. Bring on 2027!

Wearable Art TOI competition
TOI is the official wearable art showcase produced in collaboration with the world-renowned World of WearableArt (WOW) and nationwide youth performing arts programme Showquest.
A big congratulations to the five students who were selected from around 200 Auckland students to compete in the Show Quest, Wearable Art TOI competition at the Aotea Centre. The two student groups designed and made garments following the ‘Depths and Heights’ brief. Eva and Zara explored the mysteries of the ocean and Xavi, Hadia and Laana created a garment looking at the vastness of space.
