The New Zealand Secondary Schools Swimming Championships took place at AUT Millennium last weekend and we had our top swimmers compete.
Competitors included Charlotte Welsh, Brooke Humphries, Lexi Biffi, Cayleigh Blackburn, Kayla Wilkins, Kylie Lu and Michelle Ai. Charlotte Welsh pictured above in action in the 100m back.
We had some great performances from Charlotte Welsh who achieved high placings in the for 15 year old girls category in the following events:
100m back 4th
200m back 4th
200m free 7th
50m back 7th
Year 9 Swimmer Lexi Biffin had a fantastic campaign with some great results in the 14 year old girls category. They were as follows:
4th place in the 100m Breaststroke Women Final
5th place in the 200m Breaststroke Women Final
10th place in the 50m Breaststroke Women Final
