Our Year 10 student Athena Li had an impressive performance at the recent Autumn Glory 2023 event in Christchurch.  Athena finished with Gold medals in the ball and club apparatus, and Silver in the ribbon routine, to win the New Zealand Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics International Championship.  The Christchurch event was a warm-up for the Australian National Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships and Junior World Championship 2023 in Romania. Athena is expected to compete at both events and showcase her incredible talent and skill on the world stage.  We will follow her earnestly, admiring her dedication, determination, and unparalleled commitment in Rhythmic Gymnastics as she competes against the best in the world.
