Congratulations to Aaliyah Sina’au who has been selected for the New Zealand Volleyball Under 20 Squad.
The New Zealand Junior Indoor squad is preparing for the 2027 Asian Under 20 Championship in July 2027. Sina’au was one of three Westlake Girls students (Brydie McMillan and Gwen Geling) to trial for the squad during the April school holidays.
At just 17 years old, Aaliyah made a huge impact on the volleyball court. Her talent, determination, and strength gives her the confidence to deliver powerful spikes, make quick saves, and to stay focused under pressure. The New Zealand Junior Indoor Team will have a further camp in July, tournament in October and the final team selection in April 2027.
