Westlake Road racing team competed in the Auckland Road Race Champs last week and had some amazing results with Aariya Rama finishing a credible 5th place in the senior girls 4km field . Our Westlake Premier Hockey player blitzed most of the field and was only 30 seconds off the winner. Well Done Aariya!! (pictured above – she’s flying!)
Our Intermediates finished a solid 5th overall in the team race with Olivia James finishing 17th in a huge field.
The Juniors performances were incredible taking a silver medal to finish second in their 6 person team race with Junior 1st finisher Kylie Lu in 15th place with Siara Rama in 17th place.
