This week, our development ensembles Silver Keys and Volante Strings held a lunchtime concert for their friends to share their work from the year. Silver Keys is a flute choir directed by the flute teacher Mary O’Brien and they rehearse one lunchtime a week. The students range in ability from beginners to advanced and are ably led by Holly Trent who helps organise rehearsals and helps players with their music. Volante Strings is run by violin teacher Alison Salmons and beginner string students learn how to play effectively within an ensemble. Congratulations to these music students for presenting an enjoyable concert!
