The only remaining member of the champion Westlake Girls Snowboarding team, Meadow Mauger put forth a strong solo act at the Auckland Secondary School Snowboarding Championships recently to win three silver medals for the school at Snowplanet. 

Winner of the 2023, 2022 and 2019 Overall Auckland Teams Title, the Year 12 student competed in all three categories at the event – Slalom, Dual Race and Slopestyle and was nudged out of the gold medal on each occasion.

Joining big sister Coco in the successful Westlake Team as a Year 9 student, Meadow was happy to be on the podium for a fourth consecutive championship and is now looking forward to the North Island Secondary School Championship in September.

Takapuna Grammar won the overall Girls’ title this year.
