A Westlake Wonder

Annuska Menoita (pictured 3rd from left in white) left a lasting mark at Westlake Girls. She served as the Sports Prefect for Wairau House in 2014, demonstrating exceptional leadership and dedication.

In 2015, Annuska pursued her passion for architecture and embarked on her academic journey at the University of Auckland. Her time there was marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of architectural innovation.

Upon completing her studies, Annuska joined Bonham Architectures, where she refined her skills and made significant contributions to the field.

In 2020, Annuska embarked on an exciting new chapter in her career by joining the Wonder Group as Design Lead. Her time with the company was remarkable as she continued designing cutting-edge workplace environments that redefined how people interacted with their surroundings.

Annuska’s commitment to excellence in architecture was further exemplified when she emerged as a finalist for the prestigious NZ Design Award in 2023 in the category of Workplace Environments. Her work demonstrated aesthetic brilliance and a deep understanding of the evolving needs of modern workplaces.

In March of this year, she relocated to Amsterdam, where she is committed to further enhancing her skills and gaining valuable experience. She continues to inspire us all with her remarkable achievements, passion, and dedication, and we eagerly await the outstanding contributions she will make in the future.

Congratulations, Annuska, from us all, and to your proud mum, Barbara Scholten, our Student Business Liaison at WGHS!
