Auckland Transport have advised from 13 March they will be doing works on Northcote Rd, The Avenue, Takapuna Normal Intermediate Intersection, both slip lanes on the Taharoto Road / Northcote Road intersection. Work is expected to take 5 weeks of work during day hours and about another 5 of overnight work.

They will use a mix of temporary traffic signs, lane shifts and a lower speed limit. They do this to keep traffic moving and keep people who use the roads and footpaths safe. Traffic controllers will help to manage vehicle and pedestrian access. Please follow all signs, light signals and traffic directions. You’ll need to reduce your speed when you’re driving through the area.
